Soccer does not that requires not a $100 game console, requires not a net or hoop, requires not a certain type of field but all it requires is something in the shape of a sphere. This is precisely the imagination which provides soccer as the most popular sport in the world. Whichever country you go to, whether it is a developed country like America or a poverty struck nation like Zimbabwe, you will always find people playing soccer.
Winning The World cup!
Who Won The World Cup 2010? Spain vs Netherlands – Spain was able to secure the first place in the 2010 World Cup thanks to their 1-0 victory over the Netherlands. The game had been stuck in a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes of play, and the defenses of both teams had really stepped up to play. Each team had a number of chances to score. Spain made the most of early game lapses by the Netherlands squad, and had several great shots on goal that were ultimately stopped by the goalkeeper.
In the 62nd minute of the match, Arjen Robben took the ball away from playmaker Wesley Sneijder, and went one on one with goalkeeper Iker Casillas, but missed wide right on the shot. It was representative of the missed opportunities that the team would suffer from throughout the match
Sergio Ramos had hit a great looking header from Xavi Hernandez’s cross, but goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg made an amazing save in the fifth minute. He saved several shots that looked as though they should have gone in. But at the 117 th minute Andrés Iniesta scored the winning goal.
To celebrate he removed his jersey and exposed his white shirt that carried a tribute to Dani Jarque, a defender who played with some of the Spanish players on youth national teams. Jarque died last August at age 26 of a heart attack.
Note: Soccer is a team sport and the team that works together is usually the team that wins. Both teams try to score goals by moving the soccer ball with their feet and the team with the most goals will win the game at the end of the day. If there is a tie, then a draw will occur.
If the game is a competition game then there must be a winner of the game. The team that wins the draw will be determined the winner of the soccer game on that day.
